4.3 Modified Elasticity

Modified elasticity is used to modify the elasticity parameters during the analysis. The model is particularly relevant for soil mechanics, e.g. to modify Poisson's ratio and Young's modulus after having set the long term (drained) initial soil stresses.

YOUNG
mode is the modified value of Young's modulus E .

POISON
modnu is the modified value of Poisson's ratio $ \nu$ .

The following command sequence modifies the elastic properties, using the specified new values in table 'MATERI'.
